Go on Safari to Ruaha Game Reserve or Mikumi National Park.
Our staff will advise and assist you to make your stay a valuable experience.

German BOMA
In Iringa you find many traces of historical cultural heritage, for example the BOMA. It was built 1914 by the Germans and served as a military hospital.
After the First World War the British used it for regional administration.
BOMA is abreviated and means “British Oversees Mission Administration”.
Iringa Town
Iringa Town offers you many opportunities to explore the culture and exercise Swahili language.
There are numerous shops, and you find almost anything - if you are willing to spend some time looking - and talking to the people.

Isimila
Isimila Stone Age and Natural Pillars site is about a half an hour’s car drive away from Iringa. Over a period of thousands of years the area has eroded and water and wind formed these magnificent natural pillars.
Here geologists have excavated significant stone age artefacts in the 1950’s.
Southern Highlands
Iringa is about 1600 m above sea level. The land is fertile and famous for vegetable, coffee and dairy farming.
Generally the climate is warm. In the African summer from December to March temperatures reach 27 to 30 °C. But from June to August the temperatures can drop down to 9 °C.
